Recently I had a chance to visit Hyderabad again for Java Blogger Meet organized by Oracle, India on the occasion of very auspicious as Java turns 20. First of all I would like to thanks Oracle for all expenses paid trip including flight tickets to meal and cab fare too.

There were many rumours when Oracle acquired Sun Microsystems like Oracle will not looks after Java and Java will lose its importance and all but Oracle has always tried to groom Java and Java Community. Oracle always trying and helping people to get acquainted with Java. Oracle has planned a major release for Java every 2 years that means if Java 8 was launched in the year 2014 then Java 9 will be there in market by the year 2016. Many features are added to Java till now and many will come up in future.

In the journey of 20 years Java has grown from Oak to Java 8 and still counting. Java is programming language of future but now we can say that it has grown like Oak tree and will last for minimum 200 years more. I am using Java from Java 1.4.2. As Java turns 20 we celebrated the auspicious occasion and cut the cake, which was very well designed.

Java Bloggers Meet (7)

It was a very nice event overall wherein we get a chance to meet and hear many high profile people and community members like Sanket Atal (Group Vice President, Research and Development, Oracle), Shreekanth Narayanan (Director, Development Java Platform Group, Oracle), Vandana Shenoy (Director, Corporate Communications, Oracle) and Harshad Oak is after a long time. Harshad Oak is only Java Champion in India and his last name is similar to first release of Java and the coincidence he is the first Java Champion from India. We also got a chance to meet Bot-so which is a small robot who interacts with user via social network like Twitter developed by Debraj Dutta and team from Edifixio.

Dear all,

I am very happy to inform you that I am selected as Member of NetBeans Dream Team. It is an honor to be a member of NetBeans Dream Team and I am thankful of NetBeans Dream Team and NetBeans Team for considering me and my efforts towards Java and NetBeans, feeling honored since there are around only 50 people selected till now from all over the world and I am the 3rd Indian to be a member of NetBeans Dream Team after Mr, Tushar Joshi (Nagpur, India) and Mr. Rajmahendra Hegde (Chennai and Hyderabad, India).

11th Feb. 2015 was a great day for me, we had festival (Birth Anniversary) of Saint Gajanan Maharaj (Shegaon, Maharashtra, India) and same day only I have received mail with subject as Invitation to join NetBeans Dream Team!. This means all my faith in our saint and dreams have come true.

I am feeling more responsible now and I understand my responsibilities and will work as per guidelines of veteran members of NetBeans Dream Team. I am already working with a new JUG near Pune (Maharashtra, India) that is JUG Nashik (Maharashtra, India)  and will be there for few days with them from 13th Feb 2015. I will be working with 3 JUGs for now that is JUG Nagpur, JUG Pune and JUG Nashik.

For this, I would love to give credit to my family and specially to my Guide cum Mentor, Mr. Tushar Joshi. They have always encouraged me a lot even when many times I could not give them enough time due to hectic schedule of training session all over India. Also I would love to say thanks to my little son for coming in our life as a good luck charm only few days back. My wife was in also worried whether I will be there or not at the time of labor but never complained and said you just do your job, I will take care of everything.

Delivered Java EE & HTML5 Hands on Lab (HOL) using NetBeans IDE during Java One India 2013 on 8th May 2013 with Ashwin Rao, Group Product Manager, Oracle at HICC, Hyderabad for 2 hrs.

Here we covered how easily one can create a Java EE application with web service & HTML5 application which accesses the data from Java EE application and performs others operations without any problem and without writing much code.

It was an awesome experience to work with Ashwin Rao, Group Product Manager, Oracle. Those 2 hrs are the most memorable moments for me, I am ready to volunteer for next year too, hope they count me in.
